Geetika’s 4th book of poetry hits stands

NEW DELHI, Sept 11: Jammu girl, Geetika Kohli, an internationally acclaimed writer, released her fourth book of poetry, ‘Lucid Blood’ at the Press Club of India, New Delhi today. The prestigious event was chaired by Dr. Koshy A. V., an eminent English professor and poet from Saudi Arabia.
Several other noted dignitaries from Delhi were also present including Dr. Santosh Bakaya, novelist, essayist and poet from Jammu and Kashmir. The event was organised by Sudershan K Cherry, MD, Authorspress,  Ms. Monica Sharma of Delhi hosted the show.
The ceremony began with Dr. Koshy enlightening the assemblage about the relevance of modern literature and the growing importance of reading contemporary poetry. He also elucidated the constituents of world class poetry and patted Geetika for penning enthralling verses, which according to him had already transcended borders. This was succeeded by the dignitaries releasing Geetika’s book.
Geetika recited some pieces from the collection and was lauded by the guests and the audience in equal measure. Dr. Koshy admitted visiting Geetika’s Facebook page often and confessed his pride in seeing her grow popular over time.
The event concluded with Geetika signing book copies for the audience. With this fourth book, Geetika continues to make the State of Jammu & Kashmir proud, positioning it on the global map of English literature.
