Mollywood star Nivin Pauly, who is described as the next Lalettan (Mohanlal) on social media, was snapped at Cleopatra theatre in Tuticorin, where the Premam actor was reportedly watching Chiyaan Vikram's Iru Mugan.

Despite being a great actor, Nivin Pauly has been lauded enough for his simplicity and humility.

Recently, at the audio launch of Iru Mugan, Nivin Pauly openly acknowledged that he's a big fan of Chiyaan Vikram.

Ramesh Bala, a social media strategist, took to Twitter and shared a picture of Nivin Pauly at the Cleopatra theatre in Tuticorin.


Iru Mugan is a sci-fi thriller, which is directed by Anand Shankar. The film has Vikram playing dual roles- a RAW agent and an eccentric scientist Love.

Iru Mugan stars Nayanthara and Nithya Menen in lead roles. Despite mixed reviews, the film opened to great response from the audience and the film has clocked Rs 10 crore within two days of its release.

Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly is shooting for his second Tamil film tentatively titled Santa Maria, which is the Tamil remake of Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandanthe.
