SDP College talks about importance of voting

Ludhiana: An awareness lecture was organized by the department of economics & political science at SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Faculty members encouraged the students to exercise their right to vote. The awareness lecture highlighted the need to vote as voting is the corner stone of a democracy. The faculty members of political science and economics enlightened the students about the importance of voting.Students were made aware about the fact that their vote really matters.
Economics students excel in sem II exams
Post graduate department of economics at SCD Government College has excelled in its semester II examinations. Shilpa bagged first position with 79.5%, Pratiksha Gupta stood second with 79%, Parminder Kaur bagged third position with 75.5% while Vidya Grover scored highest in micro economics with 87 marks. More than 20 students have got above 70%.
