HYDERABAD: Alleging that
Tollywood actor and Jana Sena Chief Pavan Kalyan had hurt their sentiments during his speech in
Kakinada, few members of
Telangana Advocates Joint Action Committee (TAJAC) lodge a complaint in
Nampally police station on Saturday.
The Advocates in their complaint said that Pavan Kalyan during his speech in a public meeting at Kakinada on Friday commented that central government had carved out Telangana state in 2014, as easily as a man can shave his beard.
Claiming that their sentiments got hurt by this provocative comments, few Advocates approached Nampally police to take action against Pavan Kalyan.
Pavan claimed that after the state was bifurcated, he got so upset that he did not eat food for 11 days. Police received the complaint but no case was registered. ``Pavan Kalyan's statements were provocative an can create dispute between the two states,'' the members said in their complaint.
