Indian trio miss the cut at KLM Open

SPIJK (Netherlands): Indian golfers -- SSP Chawrasia, Chiragh Kumar and Jeev Milkha Singh -- missed the halfway cut to make early exit at the KLM Open.
Chawrasia, who had a strong opening round with a bogeyfree three-under 68, faltered in the second round with four-over 75 and failed to advance as the cut fell at one-under.
Also missing out were Chiragh (76-72) and Jeev (75-76).
The top 65 and ties make the weekend and currently the cut looks imminent at one-under or even par.
Joost Luiten carries the home hopes after the flying Dutchman posted the lowest round of the week to move within one stroke of the lead.
Luiten produced sparkling seven under par 64 in perfect conditions to charge up the leaderboard and lie just one stroke behind his playing partner Bernd Wiesberger, who carded a second round 66 for a 10 under total.
Luiten treated his adoring public to seven birdies as he seeks to add a second KLM Open title to his 2013 success.
He was joined in the second place by Italy's Nino Bertasio and Englishman Mark Foster. The English duo of Ben Evans and Tommy Fleetwood are a further stroke back alongside Spain's Alejandro Cañizares.
