There cannot be any excuses to complete one’s education if goals and priorities are set right, says Neelu Nand.

The 40-year-old of Suva was a proud man yesterday after he graduated in Master of Business Administration from the University of the South Pacific at Girmit Centre in Lautoka.

Mr Nand is a single father of two boys and a senior engineer at Vodafone Fiji.

He said his motivation to graduate came from his sons and his employer company.

Mr Nand also opted to invest his academic time in something that was far from engineering.

“My MBA will complement what I do at work technically and I am very proud today. But this is not the end and I will pursue my education further,” Mr Nand said.

“I thank Vodafone for believing in me and encouraging me to further my education. I have my mother who is very supportive of me and my sons are a blessing in my life.”

He said this was a moment of relief for him.

Mr Nand was joined by his mother and sons who travelled from Suva with him to attend the graduation ceremony in Lautoka.

His mother, Savitiri Nand said she was very proud of her son.

“His priorities were right.

“We never had to complain about him and his availability, because we know he worked hard,” Ms Nand said.
