King Juan Carlos of Spain takes part in HOLA! Ladies Cup

King Juan Carlos of Spain took to the seas to participate in the ¡HOLA! Ladies Cup over the weekend. The royal, who has been enjoying the summer in Majorca, donned his sailing gear for the regatta that is considered one of the most important events in Spain's nautical calendar.

Baiona town in Galicia was the setting for the regatta, which saw Juan Carlos jump aboard the Gallant with Pedro Campos.

The former monarch later presided over the awards ceremony at the Monte Real Club de Yates, where he himself picked up a prize.

A total of 36 sailors took place in the regatta, aboard boats that were emblazoned with the iconic red and white ¡HOLA!, HELLO! and HELLO! FASHION logos.
