Avinesh Rekhi to play the lead role in Diya Aur Baati Season 2?

Diya Aur Baati Hum, which will air the last episode of season 1 on September 11, will be back with its second season soon and casting for it has already begun. As reported earlier, Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid will not be a part of the second season, actor Avinesh Rekhu will be making his comeback with this show. He will be seen playing an essential role in the show.

The actor made waves with shows like Madhubala and Chhal where he was seen essaying strong roles.According to an entertainment portal, the makers wanted an actor with good looks and strong personality. So, he has been short-listed for this role.
Also, Niti Taylor will be seen playing the role of Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) daughter in the show.
