Suniel Shetty, within a few weeks of joining a micro-blogging site, is already wary of it, thanks to the troll nuisance. The actor, who posted a picture with the sports minister whom he met to discuss ideas to encourage sports in the country, was inundated with nasty comments. He said, 'Rude remarks were posted without knowing that I've been closely associated with sports.
There's such a lot of negative energy and misinformation online that it's stressful.
I often think, I'd rather dedicate that time to the gym or yoga but then social media also keeps one updated. He conceded that his daughter Athiya and her friends convinced him to continue his stint online. 'It's a great platform to reach out to people but difficult to keep up with them,' he signed off.
