2 held for arranging jobs in FCI on fake documents

Shaherkotda police on Wednesday nabbed two persons Vivekkumar Upadhyay 23, resident of West Champaran in Bihar and Ritesh Roshan of Jamshedpur in Jharkhand for managing jobs for six 10 youths of Vankaner and Chandigarh in Food Corporation of India based fake documents. Offence is registered against the two at city police station in Vankaner.

AHMEDABAD: Shaherkotda police on Wednesday nabbed two persons Vivekkumar Upadhyay 23, resident of West Champaran in Bihar, and Ritesh Roshan of Jamshedpur in Jharkhand for managing jobs for 10 youths of Vankaner and Chandigarh in Food Corporation of India based on fake documents. Offence is registered against the two at the city police station in Vankaner.
Inspector of Shaherkotda police station Satish Chaudhary said they have seized bogus rubber stamp of a member of Parliament, fake joining letters of FCI, stamp papers and a tool kit used to make bogus rubber stamps of government offices.

"During primary interrogation of the accused, it has come to light that Upadhyay, son of retired Armyman, had done its mechanical Diploma from Pune in Maharashtra and was into making Aadhar Cards in West Champaran," added Inspector Chaudhary.
According to police sources, he came into contact with one Adalat Paswan of Vankaner, who used to get jobs for unemployed youths.
"They both then with the help of Ritesh Roshan, who used to bring them candidates, charged Rs 30-40 thousand and get them jobs in FCI on forged and bogus documents," added a police source.
Inspector Chaudhary said they have handed over the accused to Vankaner police for further investigation.
