CM inaugurates centenary of RARS

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 8 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the centenary celebrations of Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS) of Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) by planting hybrid coconut seedlings in the secretariat compound, here today.
Minister for Agriculture V.S.Sunilkumar and Minister for Revenue E.Chandrasekharan also joined the Chief Minister in planting coconut seedlings brought from the RARS in Pilicode.
Minister for Agriculture and pro-Chancellor of the KAU V.S.Sunilkumar and Vice-chancellor Dr.P.Rajendran said that planting of hybrid coconut seedlings simultaneously done in all district headquarters to mark the beginning of the centenary celebrations.
