Greater Noida: Be it flood light failure on the first day of the first Duleep Trophy game, rain delays and dull draws later on in the games that followed at the Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida, nothing has deterred the cricket loving public in Delhi and NCR to attend these games.

The presence of big international names like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Gautam Gambhir, Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay ensured that there were a few hundred people to watch the first three games on each of the days when play was possible.

Rest assured that the crowd will be back for the final as more India internationals which include the likes of batsmen Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will join India Red and India Blue for the final that will be played from September 10-14.

The BCCI on Wednesday announced that the three have been included in the squads and will play the last game. Also, all-rounder Stuart Binny and leg-spinner Amit Mishra had earlier confirmed their availability.

The BCCI's idea behind including these big names in the Duleep Trophy squad is to take these players' inputs and views on playing day-night long form cricket with the pink ball as it will help them plan about the future of Test cricket at night with the coloured ball.
