Truck hits bike in Talcher, 3 killed

BHUBANESWAR: Three people were killed on Wednesday night when a truck hit a motorcycle near Kandhal square on the outskirts of Talcher town in Angul district.
Police sources said the incident happened at around 10.30 pm. A man from Regali area coming with a woman and a little girl in a bike towards Talcher met with the accident.
Though the police are yet to establish the identity of the deceased, they suspect the trio belongs to a single family.

Talcher police station officer-in-charge TK Panda said they reached the spot immediately after getting information from locals. "We found their bodies on the road. The truck has fled from the spot after hitting the bike. We are taking steps for identification of the bodies," said the officer.
