VADODARA: Owner of the cow that led to a man's death two days ago has been arrested by the Gorwa police. Suresh Mori, a resident of Dharampura area was nabbed after the police received information about him from a relative of the deceased. Soham Thakor had died of injuries early on Sunday morning after the two-wheeler he was driving rammed into the cow behind Trident Complex on the Race Course Road.
The cow's horn had pierced through Thakor's chest leading to his death. The cow too had died due to the impact of the accident. "We have arrested Mori under IPC section 304 (II) for culpable homicide not amounting to murder," said Gorwa police inspector, U J Srimali. The city saw second death due to stray cattle within a week.
