Ganesh Chaturthi songs: On the first day of Ganpati festival, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has sung the Ganesh Aarti in his special, inimitable voice in dedication of the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. Over the years, Bachchan has been very active in most celebrations and looks to participate as closely as possible by adding his special touch to make for a unique project and this time he has picked the Lord Ganesh birth anniversary festival. Ganpati festival is the most important religious festival in Western India and in Mumbai especially, it is celebrated with spectacular effect in all ways imaginable.
The trip to Siddhivinayak Temple is now going to turn even more exhilarating as there is no voice like Bachchan’s to evoke soulfulness and fill the listener will peace. Ganesh Chaturthi started on September 5 and will continue for 11 days. We can imagine all his legion of fans heading to the temple just to hear Big B. The lines of devotees is bound to get longer! And the treat does not end here, Amitabh Bachchan will even shoot a Ganesh Aarti video! That it will be as special as the Aarti itself is clear from the fact that it will be directed by Shoojit Sircar. Amitabh Bachchan’s rendition of the Ganesh Aarti was helped by a number of professionals including music director duo Rohan-Vinayak.
