Gulnaar, Shaam-E-Ghazal, was organised at Ishmeet Singh Music Institute, here, last evening. During this function, the artists, teachers and students of Ishmeet Singh Music Institute performed Ghazals penned by noted Punjabi poet Prof Gurbhajan Gill. Prof Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology was the chief guest on the occasion, while famous photo artist Mr Tej Pratap Singh Sandhu was the guest of honour.Dr Charan Kamal Singh, Director, Ishmeet Singh Music Institute, informed that during Gulnaar, Shaam-E-Ghazal, selected ghazals from Prof Gurbhajan Gill's latest book "Gulnaar" were performed by the students, artists and teachers of the institute. He said that Prof Gurbhajan Gill is formed president of Punjabi Sahit Akademi and has recently been awarded with the Shiromani Kavi Award by the Punjab government.While speaking on the occasion, Prof Gurbhajan Gill thanked the institute for organising a function based on his latest book "Gulnaar". 

He said that the Ishmeet Singh Music Institute has been working in the field of performing arts for the last several years. He informed that impressed by the kind of talent the institute has developed, music producer Mr Jagdev Mann has promised to come up with an audio album of the students shortly.Bollywood singer Sargam also performed Prof Gurbhajan Gill's ghazal during the function. The other singers who performed during the function included Dr Charan Kamal Singh, Mr Kapil Sharma, Mr Kamaljit Singh, Miss Gagandeep Kaur, Mr Tajinder Singh, Mr Gurpreet Singh, besides several others.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mr Pirthepal Singh Batala, Mr Manjinder Singh Dhanoa, Mr Tajinder Singh Gill, Mr Deep Jagdeep, Prof Davinder Kaur Saini, besides several others.
