1st State Tanisha-Do C’ship begins

JAMMU, Sept 4: 1st State Tanisha-Do Championship organized by Jammu District Tanisha-Do-Association commenced at Bhagwati Hakikat Memorial School, Barnai, here.
On the occasion, Tarsem Sharma, Asia Head was the chief guest, who inaugurated the Championship in presence of Joginder Singh, Bandhana Sharma, Nehal Lalotra and Rishi Singh, who were guest of honour.
Around 300 students from different schools and clubs are participating in the Championship.
In below-23 kg (girls), Nandni of KS Public School, Geeta of Shastri Memorial and Varinka of Tiny Tots bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, whereas in below 25-kg (girls), Simran of Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School and Riya of Tiny Tots bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Roshni and Smile of Shastri Memorial clinched bronze medals.
In below 30 kg (girls), Vishali and Kanika, both from Bhagwati Hakikat School bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Mokshi of Shastri Memorial clinched bronze medal.
In below 35 kg (girls), Piya of Tiny Tots and Nanika of Vishwa Bharati bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Naina of Tiny Tots and Nicya of Indra Public secured bronze medals.
In below-40 kg (girls), Bhawna of Vishwa Bharati and Aradhana bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Harshita of Vishwa Bharati and Vishakha of Bhagwati Hakikat clinched bronze medals.
In below-45 kg (girls), Tanu of Bhagwati Hakikat and Sohanvi of Vishwa Bharati bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Hershull of Vishwa Bharati and Tejesvi of Tiny Tots claimed bronze medals.
In below-50 kg (girls), Avantika of Shiv Public High School and Ananya of Tiny Tots bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Archana of Vishwa Bharati and Makhi of Tiny Tots secured bronze medals.
In below 60 kg (girls), Bavishya Saraf of Vishwa Bharati clinched gold medal.
