Int’l yoga festival to be held in October

Almora: The second edition of International Yoga Festival will be held in Jageshwar in the first week of October. Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board will organize the festival and Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam will be the nodal agency for the event. The participants will stay in homestays run by local people and KMVN guest house and cottages. Local food will be served to the guests at the three-day festival.
G S Martoliya, the general manager of KMVN told TOI that interested people can register online to participate in the festival.
The festival will include sessions of asanas, meditation and pranayama. Heritage and nature walks, aarti and pooja will also be part of the festival.
