Mankotia tours Mahore, takes out protest march for civic amenities

REASI, Sept 3: Balwant Singh Mankotia, State president Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party, along with senior leaders, conducted one day extensive tour of Mahore constituency of district Reasi and addressed a series of public meetings,  organized by  JKNPP local unit.
Mr  Mankotia,  along with  people from Balla Kota and Danda and party activists, also  took out a protest rally at Chassana in Mahore constituency. The protesters gathered at Chassana and proceeded towards Chassana Bazaar in the shape of the procession raising anti-Government slogans and expressing resentment against the lack of civic amenities in the entire area.
Mr  Mankotia appealed to the local traders, shopkeepers and businessmen to shut down the market in the interest of the public demand. He received a arousing reception from the people who joined the protest march and blocked the road.
While addressing the media,  Mr  Mankotia said that that the people had been voting the political parties to power for the last 70 years for developmental issues like electricity, power, roads, etc  but the plight of the area remained unabated. He said that people had been divested of basic amenities, which had made their life a living hell. He said that people were also demanding road connectivity from Chassana to Balla Kota and Danda but their most coveted demand had not been conceded by the State Government  so far.
Mr  Mankotia claimed  that people of the area were feeling cheated and betrayed by the present BJP-PDP Government and they were fed up with the hollow promises doled out by the successive Governments. He said that JKNPP was the only regional party of Jammu region fighting for the cause of the Dogras and the Paharis from the time of its inception. He also urged the people of Mahore to support and empower Panthers Party in the fight for rights and justice.
Prominent among those,  who accompanied Mr Mankotia,  included Bashiruddin , Ajay Singh, Sdr  Gurusharan Singh and others.
