PARACHINAR  - At least 24 people got affected and left untreated due to non-availability of vaccine after consuming milk of cows bitten by a mad dog here on Friday.

The incident occurred at Boshehra Gul, a suburb area of Parachinar where a mad dog bit milk-giving cows and after consuming their milk 24 people were affected.

The relatives of the affected people, when contacted Agency Headquarters Hospital, the doctor advised them to apply anti-rabbis vaccine on the affected people. However, there was no such vaccine available in the entire Agency.

MNA from Kurram Agency Sajid Toori and Senator Sajjad Hussain expressed great resentment over no availability of rabbis' vaccine and asked for immediate provision of the vaccine to the affected people. They also said that the vaccine should be made available at all Agency hospitals.
