Thiruvananthapuram: The Vizhinjam police has not been able to identify a biker gang which hacked a man returning from airport on Thursday. Clear CCTV footage of the incident that took place at 12.30am could not be recovered. Cyber cell has been roped in to identify those responsible using mobile phone locations, and they suspect that local residents were involved in the act.
The injured Sunil Kumar, 30, of Marthandam was travelling in a car on NH 66 towards his home town at around 12.30 am when he was attacked. He was later admitted to Medical College. A team under Vizhinjam sub-inspector is probing the case.
