Sangrur: The district police have presented a challan against AAP MLA Naresh Yadav, Vijay Kumar, Nand Kishor Goldy and the latter's son Gaurav in the Malerkotla Quran desecration case. Talking to The Tribune Sangrur SSP Pritpal Singh Thind said the challan was presented in the court of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM), Malerkotla. The police have also presented a challan against 10 persons in the SDJM's court. They are accused of attacking the residence of former DGP Mohammad Izhar Alam soon after the sacrilege on June 24. The next date of hearing is September 12. TNS
