Aanchal Munjal, who has acted in Bollywood films like Sunny Deol’s Ghayal Once Again, is all set to make her entry in Kollywood with Nakul’s Sei. The actor who is extremely excited about her upcoming venture opens up about her experience of working in the film.
“My character’s name is Nina, who is a strong and clear-headed person and she will go to any extent to convince people to get her way. She is backed by three of her friends who help her achieve that. It’s like a gang ,” Aanchal starts.
Talking about Sei, she reveals, “It is not a hero or heroine-centric film. It has a lot of drama and we can assure that you will be laughing throughout. There are also many moments that will keep you at the edge of your seat. The unique thing about the film would be the setting in which the hero and heroine meet each other. ”
Aanchal also heaps praise on her co-star Nakul — “He is an amazing co-actor. He is always full of energy and charm. And of course, his dance! I got a glimpse of him dancing and I was astounded!”
When asked how she is managing with Tamil dialogues, she says, “I am in love with the language already! Reading the script of Sei, I could not help but say yes to the film. I was a bit nervous that the language would be a barrier, but it wasn’t. I took Tamil classes and learnt the meaning of all my dialogues — and was able to okay a shot in a single take.”
Talking about her future projects, she says, “I would like to play roles similar to Sei. The character should have some depth to it. And who wouldn’t love to act alongside Suriya and Dhanush and do romantic numbers? These two heroes are on top of my list for now.” (laughs)
