The Voice India Kids Battle was an interesting watch!

The show began with a Shaan, Neeti Mohan paying a tribute to all the teachers with the song Guru brahma and Shekhar Ravjiani singing Iqbal's song Aashayein. The show saw a battle between the contestants today.First three to come were Vishwaprasad, Tejas and Shreyas from Neeti's team. They sang the classical song Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. Vishwaprasad won the round and made it to The Live Show. Next to come were Rajashri, Neha and Shreya from Shekhar's team. They sang Yuva's song 'Kabhi neem neem'. The girls won judges' hearts by their melodious performance. Shekhar selected Shreya Basu. Mismi, Charvi and Ankita stole our hearts with their performance on 'Nigaahein Milane Ko'. Shaan called their's the best presented and choreographed performance. Shekhar selected Mismi. From Shaan's team, Bhavya, Anushka and Srishti came. They performed on the song 'Bol na Halke Halke.' Shaan didn't seem very pleased with the performance. He selected Srushti.

Srishti, Mismi, Shreya, Vishwaprasad cleared battle round and paved their way to The Live Show.

The Voice has worked all these years because of its core concept of judging the contestants purely on the basis of their voice and not looks or anything else.The series consists of three phases: a Blind Audition, a Battle Phase and Live Performance shows.The first stage is the blind auditions, where auditionees sing in front of the coaches. The Battle Phase, that we saw today, is where the mentors filter their selected contestants and send few selected ones to the next level. The third is where they perform live.
