National Housing Bank wants to undertake implementation of an end to end network as also update its existing network and support services. It is looking for a service provider, which can undertake the work, including providing network equipment. The bank has centralized setup with data center in New Delhi and DR site at Mumbai. All its applications are hosted at the data center and these are accessed by its various offices through MPLS WAN/internet. At present, it has MPLS connectivity between Delhi, Mumbai and other offices – WAN (MPLS) between New Delhi, Mumbai and regional representative offices; LAN at New Delhi and Mumbai offices; other offices are connected to head office through MPLS; also applications /internet/intranet. The selected service provider will have to undertake network designing, providing all related network hardware, installation, configuration, hardening, maintenance support, integration with LAN/WAN and proactive monitoring. In addition, the service provider will have to review existing LAN configurations for performance issues and plug the gaps if any.
