JOIN USBollywood actor Varun Dhawan will soon be seen sharing screen space with ‘Kill Dill’ girl Parineeti Chopra in David Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’, the sequel to the action comedy ‘Judwaa’ (1997), featuring Salman Khan in a double role opposite actors Karishma Kapoor and Rambha.
This will be the second movie of the onscreen Humpty Sharma with father David. The 29-year-old is presently shooting for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, in which he will be seen opposite B-Town’s Pataka Guddi Alia Bhatt.
If sources are to be believed, the makers wanted to feature two such actors who represent the young generation but have never shared screen space. However, ‘Kick’ actor Jacqueline Fernandez’s name is almost final for the role of Mala, played by Karishma in the first part.
There is talk that Parineeti Chopra has been approached for the role of Roopa, after the makers saw her chemistry in ‘Jaaneman Aah’ opposite the ‘Badlapur’ actor in ‘Dishoom’.
Meanwhile, it is expected that the ‘Ishaqzaade’ star will take some time to make her decision since she has just returned from her US ‘Dream Team’ tour. The movie is expected to go on floors in April next year.
