3,000 kg pasti collected in a day

SURAT: A group of youth collected 3,000 kg of pasti from homes of 400 employees of collectors' office including that of district collector Mahendra Patel's house on Thursday. This Maha Pastidan Abhiyan would go on till September 17, which is the birthday of Prime minister Narendra Modi. At the end of the campaign, pasti thus collected would be sold and money collected would be given to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
Vrajesh Unadkat, who organized 'Pastidan to Pustakdan' campaign recently and is heading this campaign as well, said, "In these 17 days, we plan to collect two lakh kg of pasti and create a new record."
