AMRITSAR: Friends Cricket Club (FCC) beat Food Corporation of India (FCI) by three wickets to win the second Amandeep T20 Championship at the Amandeep Cricket Academy, Sultanwind Canal Road.

Friends Cricket Club (FCC) beat Food Corporation of India (FCI) by three wickets to win the second Amandeep T20 Championship at the Amandeep Cricket Academy, Sultanwind Canal Road.

Batting first, the FCIteam scored 123 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 20 overs. Chetan Sharma (37), with the help of three fours and two sixes, was the highest run getter for the team. Rajinder Bisht also scored run-a-ball 23 runs.

For FCC, Akash Tomar and Pulkit Narang scalped two wickets each. In reply, FCC (B) reached home 124/7 with three wickets in hand.

For FCC boys, Dhruv scored 52 runs in 41 balls with five boundaries and two sixes. Pinesh Dabas made an unbeaten 14 runs in the end. For FCI team, Varun Sood, man of the match, scalped four wickets by giving away 14 runs in four overs. Vison Panchal took three wickets in four overs.

Yashpal Dagar was declared the best batsmen of the tournament, while Akash Tomar emerged as the best bowler of the tournament. The man of the series award was bagged by Akash Tomar (FCI).
