Adarsh scam: Bombay High Court raps CBI for ‘not applying mind’ while filing report

The court has now asked CBI’s joint director, west zone, to be present before the court during the next date of hearing on September 28, and has asked the CBI to file an additional report.

The Bombay High Court Thursday pulled up the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for non-application of mind while filing a report with regard to a criminal application, which seeks further investigation into various aspects relating to the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society scam.

The report was supposed to be submitted before the court in a sealed cover. The court has now asked CBI’s joint director, west zone, to be present before the court during the next date of hearing on September 28, and has asked the CBI to file an additional report.
