Richa Chadda's character in upcoming web series based on Preity Zinta?

Richa Chadda is acting an upcoming web series called 'Powerplay' and reports indicate that her character ' that of an actress who owns a cricket team ' is based on Preity Zinta. As per a report in a tabloid, sources say that the series focuses on cricket and betting and Richa's character owns a team in a professional league with her boyfriend (played by Angad Bedi). However, according to sources, Ness and Preity's domestic woes have been kept out of the plot.

The report claims that Richa has even starting watching old videos of Preity from IPL games to prepare for her role, as she wanted to understand what prompted n actress to invest in sports.Director Karan Anshuman, however, did not say much on the issue. Speaking to a leading tabloid, Anshuman said that he did not wish to divulge any detail regarding the plot, adding that the shooting had already begun and that he hoped people would like it.
