Amala Paul gets lucky! Actress to share screen space with Rajinikanth in Pa Ranjith's next

South beauty Amala Paul has been topping the headlines for her divorce news with estranged husband A.L. Vijay. It has been just two years that the duo have tied the knot but sadly their marital life has turned ugly. It was quite a shock when the news spread like wildfire that the young actress has been unofficially banned in Kollywood and the person who is said to be responsible for this is none other than Vijay’s father A.L. Azhagappan. Vijay’s father Azhagappan is said to be a highly influential person down south and from the time Amala and Vijay filed for divorce, the actress’ life turned upside down. But looks like Amala’s career has just gotten lucky with a new project!

On August 29 popular south actor Dhanush made the most exciting announcement. The 33-year-old star revealed that he is all set to produce superstar Rajinikanth’s next flick that would be helmed by Pa Ranjith. After ‘Kabali’, Rajinikanth and Pa Ranjith are once again coming together with another fabulous film. Dhanush tweeted saying, “I’m so proud and honoured to announce our production’s next film #WunderbarFilms.” But the hottest buzz is Amala Paul might be paired opposite Rajinikanth in the film. Now this is one hell of a great opportunity for Amala to shine in the Tamil industry. (ALSO READ: Amala Paul & A L Vijay divorce: Actress to be banned in Kollywood?)

All this while fans and gossipmongers assumed that Amala Paul will be totally neglected in Kollywood. As of now she has just one project in hand and that is ‘Vada Chennai’ in which she is sharing screen space with Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah. The film is directed by Vetrimaaran. This is isn’t the first time Amala Paul is working with Dhanush. In the past she has worked with Dhanush in films like ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari’ and ‘Amma Kanakku’. However the reports of Amala sharing screen space with Rajinikanth has not been confirmed yet by the filmmakers or by the actress.

This project will start as soon as Rajinikanth will wrap up with ‘2.0’ that is also known as ‘Enthiran 2’. This is the first time ever that Dhanush is collaborating with his father-in-law, the megastar of the country – Rajinikanth. Since the time Dhanush has made this announcement, fans are going gaga about it. The popular director Pa Ranjith has also confirmed that the upcoming will not be sequel to ‘Kabali’ instead it will be a fresh project. It is even said that apart from Amala Paul no other actresses have been considered for the project yet. If these reports are to be believed then it is going to be big break for Amala Paul post her separation scenes with A.L. Vijay.
