Fashion editor and street-style star Giovanna Battaglia-Engelbert frequently gives her 545,000 Instagram followers sneak peeks at her chic adventures around the globe—a recent post placed her in magical Capri, Italy—but her home base is Stockholm. On the city’s Djurgården island, she shares a stylish apartment with her husband, Oscar Engelbert, which they renovated together. Navigating the design process solo (the couple didn’t use an architect or designer) had another benefit besides resulting in an ultra-personalized home: It helped Battaglia-Engelbert discover some of Stockholm’s best local spots, from impressive architecture sites to beautiful home-decor shops. She recently shared some of her must-visit places on AD’s Instagram feed. Together, her posts make the perfect insider’s guide, if you happen to be visiting the Nordic city anytime soon.
