Online ticket seller Fandango has expanded its coverage in Southern California, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., by adding the ArcLight Cinemas chain to its network.

Fandango, a subsidiary of NBCUniversal, said it currently provides ticketing to more than 27,000 screens nationwide.

“ArcLight is a master at making moviegoing an event, with their deluxe cinemas, reserved seating, state-of-the-art presentation, gourmet cafes, and full bars, and we’re thrilled to offer our customers the opportunity to experience movies uninterrupted at their world-class venues,” said Kevin Shepela, senior VP and head of commerce for Fandango.

The deal will provide ticketing for the flagship ArcLight Hollywood, located next to the Cinerama Dome, as well as multiplexes in Santa Monica, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, Beach Cities, Culver City, and La Jolla.

Fandango and ArcLight Cinemas plan to host special screenings for moviegoers in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Santa Monica this fall.
