Shah Rukh's Darr is getting a creepy, stalker-ish, web series makeover

The web series will explore the perils and infamous power of cyber crimes.

While the world continues to turn towards the phenomenon of web-series, it only makes sense for one of Bollywood's most iconic thrillers to don its garb.

We're speaking about Shah Rukh Khan-Juhi Chawla starrer, Darr which is all set to be turned into a five part web-series by Y Films.

The 1993 movie which is still counted among one of Khan's best performances was a psychological thriller that had the actor in a negative role. And now, giving the movie a web-series twist, Y Films will explore the characters in a new light.

According to PTI, the series will be based on the perils of internet and how cyber stalking can wreak havoc in the lives of those involved.

The series will be directed by Vikas Chandra, who was an associate creative producer for Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Bollywood flick Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.

While the cast of the series is yet to be announced, its story is by Nikhil Taneja.
