BJP ministers proving non- performing liabilities: PYC

BISHNAH, Aug 30: Pradesh Youth Congress  has questioned BJP for its double standards over dialogue on Kashmir situation and asked it to clarify whether it stands for talks with Hurriyat as advocated by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who has also sought apology from the separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
Addressing a Youth Congress convention at Bishnah today, PYC president Pranav Shagotra  asked BJP and its Ministers to clear their position before the public. He said that the most unfortunate is the surrender of BJP and its leaders  for the sake of power and said that PDP-BJP are two faces of same coin. He questioned the silence of coalition partners BJP, over the public statement of PDP spokesperson to the Hurriyat leadership to give another chance to  Mehbooba Mufti treating her as his daughter.
Terming BJP ministers  as non- performing liability on the people of the State, Mr Shagotra exhorted party cadre to reach out to the people to solve their day today problems and expose the double standard of BJP in the State.
Mr Shagotra recalled that people of Jammu region had voted in favour of BJP, with a hope that their wishes would be addressed, but people now are feeling cheated and betrayed by the BJP leaders and ministers for their total surrender. “Performance of BJP ministers appears only on papers because the they are more particular about issuing press statements and conducting photo sessions to befool the people rather than taking effective steps on grounds”, PYC president observed
Shagotra said that BJP has been exposed before the masses and there was no taker of the hallow nationalist slogans of party ministers because they have been exposed during NIT issue in Srinagar, national flag hoisting controversy and after killing of HM commander Burhan Wani which was termed as an accident.
Pointing towards rampant corruption in the State, PYC chief said that instead of taking some effective steps to control corruption, this regime has legalized the corruption through its actions.
The convention was organized by Assembly Youth Congress Committee led by  Vijay Tagotra Assembly president Bishnah . Rajvir Singh, PYC general secy, Balbir Singh PYC secretary, Chetan Wanchoo PYC spokesperson, Charanjeet Cheeku LYC president, Arun Deonia, Ramnik Singh  and  Nimrandeep Singh were also present.
