Nine devotees, including a boy, were killed and 11 others injured in two road mishaps in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan on Tuesday.
Six devotees, returning from Ramdevera fair, were killed on the spot and 11 injured when a tractor-trailer overturned on the highway leading to Madhya Pradesh at Mandal in Bhilwara district.
The deceased included three women, said Mandal SHO Thana Harish Sankhla.
Six of injured were admitted to a government hospital in Bhilwara.
The tractor-trolley carrying 32 pilgrims was on its way from Ramdevera fair in Jodhpur to Jhalawar district.
In another accident, a state undertaking bus mowed down three of a family riding a bike in Gulabpura town, SHO Ravindra Pratap Singh said.
The deceased belonged to Madhya Pradesh and were also returning from the fair.
The bus overturned after hitting the bike but none of the passenger was hurt, Singh said.
