Acting Kharkiv region head Svitlychna undecided yet if she will compete for governorship
Acting Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Yulia Svitlychna has not yet decided whether she will participate in a tender for the post of the regional administration head.
"The tender has not been announced yet. When and if the tender is announced, then I'll think about filing my bid," Svitlychna told reporters on Tuesday.
She made it clear that she doesn't plan to make any changes in the work of Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
As reported, Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko appointed Svitlychna as acting head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration on August 29.
Svitlychna, 32, served as deputy head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration since November 2014; as first deputy head of the regional administration since April 2016. She heads the Petro Poroshenko Bloc 'Solidarity' faction in the regional council.
The previous head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Ihor Rainin, was appointed head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, on August 30.
