A Good News For All The Cinema Lovers, Arshad-Naseeruddin's Ishqiya 3 To Hit The Floors Soon!

Babban and Khalujaan are iconic characters and Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah have done justice to their roles in Ishqiya series.

Well if you belong to the Ishqiya fan club too, here’s a good news. Babban and Khalujaan are all set to return to the big screen as a mid-day report has confirmed that the third instalment is all set to hit the floors this year.

Even though the second part, which was ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ couldn’t really set the box-office on fire but a report claims that the producers have a “brilliant” script in mind for the third part of the franchise. A source told Mid-Day,

"The film will be produced by Ketan Maru. Though Abhishek Chaubey is said to be directing it, we haven't got an official confirmation from him yet. The female lead hasn't been locked either. So far, only Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi are on board and will reprise their roles of Khalujaan and Babban, respectively. Once the heroine is signed, the actors' dates will be finalised."

Abhishek Chaubey, whose Udta Punjab is being considered as one of the biggest commercial success of 2016 will be helming the film.

Both Chaubey and Vishal Bhardwaj (co-producer) are yet to confirm the news but we definitely would not mind watching Babban and Khalujaan back on the big screen!
