Jung transfer senior officers; Kejriwal says 'Modiji hell bent on destroying Delhi through LG’

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today accused the Centre of meddling in administration after Lt Governor Najeeb Jung transferred senior officers. “Modiji is hell bent on destroying Delhi through LG,” Mr Kejriwal said on micro-blogging site Twitter. Expressing concern over the recent transfer of officers by Mr Jung, who represents the Centre in Delhi, the Chief Minister said, “Today, several officers transferred by LG directly. Files not even shown to CM or any minister. Is this Modi model of democracy?” Despite Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia “virtually falling at the Lt Governor’s feet” and asking him not to remove the officers looking after the key areas of Mohalla clinics and building schools, Mr Jung ordered the transfers, Mr Kejriwal alleged. Mr Jung has transferred two officers, who were handling ambitious projects of AAP government -- setting up mohalla clinics and construction of new schools. Earlier on August 12, Mr Sisodia met Mr Jung and urged him not to transfer health and PWD secretaries. Mr Sisodia had said that the AAP government appointed thorough professionals as Secretaries, who were steering developmental work at high speed and therefore, transferring officers working on the mohalla clinics project and construction of schools, would make people suffer. This is first major administrative reshuffle ever since Delhi High Court declared the Lt Governor as administrative head of the national capital. UNI SM SW RSA 1506
