This story takes place inside a room

Director Kannan Rangaswamy, who will be making his debut through Dhayam, has kicked off his Kollywood journey with an unusual subject. He���s done away with picturesque locations to do a film that happens inside a room. The film, which is said to be a horror-thriller, has Santhosh Prathap of Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam fame and beauty pageant Aira Agarwal in the lead.Talking about the film, he says, ���I challenged myself to write a screenplay that happens inside a room. It was quite taxing as the film shouldn���t look like stage play or a television drama. So, I had work a lot on the script. We worked on the set-up of the room and brought in several interesting elements. Also, the screenplay is so tight and engaging that people wouldn���t feel bored. The film���s duration is around one hour and 45 minutes.���
The music is composed by newcomer Sathish Selvam. ���There are four songs and all of them will be situation-based. We have not gone outdoors for the songs, too. We have songs rendered by Shakthisree Gopalan, Alphons Joseph and a song written by Arunraja Kamaraj,��� says Kannan, adding, ���We did the re-recording in Macedonia, Greece and the sound mixing was done in France.���
