Watford have completed a deal to sign Anderlecht's Italy international striker Stefano Okaka.

The 27-year-old striker has completed a medical for the Hornets and becomes their ninth signing of the summer, penning a five-year contract.

The former Fulham loanee will be back up to strikers Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo, with former Liverpool forward Jerome Sinclair and £12.5m signing Isaac Success also competing for first-team opportunities.

Okaka spent the first seven years of his professional career at Roma, and during that time had loan spells at Modena, Brescia, Fulham, Bari and Parma.

Okaka signed a permanent deal with Parma on August 20, 2012, but was loaned out the next day to Serie B club Spezia where he made 38 appearances.
