Take everything you know about fall make-up—the dark, broody colours; the shimmer shadow-bronzer OD; complicated hairdos—and throw it out the door. At Lakmé Fashion Week's winter/festive 2016 edition, while we did spot some festive staples, the artists behind the beauty looks were definitely not going by the book.

Summer majors like pops of neon orange and pink; disheveled wash-and-dry hair (yes!); fresh, super-flushed cheeks and strobed highlights were seen alongside dramatic cat eyes; glittery ruby lips (inspired by this hot new Pat McGrath launch, perhaps?) and festive gold lids.
