TV actors Hunar Hale and Mayank Gandhi’s big fat wedding in Delhi

If the wedding took place in the serene ambience of a gurudwara in GK, the reception’s atmosphere was boisterous at a Janpath hotel in Delhi. But throughout the hustle and bustle, Mayank Gandhi and Hunar Hale looked inseparable.
The family and friends of the TV actors let their hair down at the reception as they sang and danced to their heart’s content. Mayank’s sisters-in-law waited eagerly for their new jijaji to come as they had planned to extort more than a lakh from him! The groom’s friends and family members, however, proved to be better at bargaining and got away with paying slightly above Rs 30,000.Guneet joked, “This is not fair. We kept watching his shoes like a hawk and stole them the moment we could. We were hoping our effort would pay great dividends. We didn’t expect such a small amount. Hunar didi has always been generous. She once got us all party outfits. Baki gunn toh milte hain par jijaji toh paison ke mamle mein kanjoos nikle.”

Mayank said, “I was gifted a T-shirt by my bhabhi, which said, ‘game over.’ But the feeling that I am no more a bachelor had sunk in immediately after the roka some nine months ago.” Hunar said, “This is more or less how I wanted my wedding to be like. I am thrilled to be a part of Mayank’s family, but will be missing my family.”
