Michael S. Cook-Hoar, a dedicated fiction writer and student of media, has completed his new book "Who Fates Befall": a hair-raising thriller in which a canon of supernatural beings turns a bereaved husband's plans for revenge into full-blown spiritual warfare.

Cook-Hoar was born and raised in Massachusetts. Having lived in Salem, a town known for its history of witchcraft and persecution thereof, he finds himself to be very eloquent in writing about supernatural themes. The great depth to which those themes are explored in this book began to be put into writing "when (I) was laid up for six weeks with a torn tendon in his right knee."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Michael S. Cook-Hoar's intense tale begins when Vincent makes a vow to bring his pregnant wife's murderer to justice as he cuts her mutilated body down from a tree to provide her a proper burial.

Wasting no time, Vincent digs up the long abandoned chest in a cemetery which contains a crystal ball. Restored once again to his original state and powers, the hell-bent hero begins his pursuit, battling and managing demons, angels, and gods alike on the way.

Readers who wish to experience this exciting work can purchase "Who Fates Befall" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
