Gangster Gaji held, 2 firearms seized from him

BATHINDA: Police have arrested gangster Jugraj Singh Gaji, who is a close associate of notorious gangster Tirath Dhilwan.
Police has recovered two weapons from Gaji, who is facing a dozen cases of attempt to murder; the NDPS Act, and the Arms Act in Punjab and Haryana.
Though, he belongs to village Hassu at Punjab-Haryana border, Gaji was residing at a rented accommodation in Paras Ram Nagar, Bathinda.Apart from a revolver of 32 bore with 5 cartridges and a gun of 12 bore with 5 cartridges, an SUV bearing registration number HR 26 BS 5007 has also been recovered from him.
Bathinda DSP (Investigations) Gursharn Singh said police on a tip off had laid a naka on Sunday near village Naruana in Bathinda and the police party succeeded in arresting him when he was coming from his village to Bathinda in his Innova car. "We recovered a revolver of 32 bore from his car and a gun 12 bore with 5 cartridges from his rented accommodation," he said.
