Teenager crushed under bus

Bicholim: Fati Subhash Ghadi, 17, a student of Keshav Sewa Sadhana’s special school for children, Vathadev, Bicholim, died after he was crushed under the rear wheels of a passenger bus at Kasarpal-Bicholim on Sunday.
Bicholim police said that the deceased, a resident of Kasarpal, had been standing by the side of a road when the bus stopped to alight a passenger.
Even before the driver could realize, the boy came under the rear wheels and died due to severe head injuries, said the ploice.The driver came to know about the accident only after leaving the stop.
The boy was rushed to the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, but declared brought dead.
The police have arrested bus driver Sudesh Naik under Section 304-A of IPC. PSI Pritesh Madgaonkar is investigating into the matter. The body has been preserved at GMC for postmortem. tnn
