According to police, Koushik who came to Puducherry to take part in the “Spandan”(Jipmer youth Festival) went to Pudukuppam beach along with his friends on August 21.When they were playing on the beach, a huge wave dragged him into the sea and was missing since then as the searches proved futile. Meanwhile, his body was washed ashore at Veerampatinam port area last evening.
