On Thursday, Kroy Biermann surprised wife Kim Zolciak with a beautiful diamond band ahead of their fifth wedding anniversary, but the way the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed the rock has raised eyebrows.
“Hubby got me a present! I’m so excited to open it,” Zolciak, 38, shared on Snapchat Thursday. “This is my present from my hubby you guys, it’s a Forevermark wedding band for our five year wedding anniversary.”
“I just got the band early because he loves me so much,” she continued. “Each one of the diamonds is a Forevermark which only one percent in the world are.”
Zolciak’s gushing posts could be perceived as advertisements for Forevermark — as she’s shilled for Flat Tummy Tea, waist trainers and teeth whitening products before — but both camps confirmed they’re not working together.
A rep for Forevermark told Page Six on Friday that Kroy, 30, purchased the 11-carat sparkler in honor of their wedding date, Nov. 11, 2011, from Tara Fine Jewelry in Buford, Georgia.
The NFL pro recently relocated to upstate New York — sans his family — after signing with the Buffalo Bills earlier this month.
Fellow reality TV mavens the Kardashians were recently accused of deceptive marketing on social media.
“We have found that members of the Kardashian/Jenner family are engaged in deceptive marketing campaigns,” a legal letter that was sent from Truth in Advertising Inc. to Kris Jenner and her lawyer read.
The famous family came under investigation when Truth in Advertising “found a plethora of posts that do not clearly or conspicuously disclose their relationships with the companies being promoted in the posts as is required by federal law.”
