    SIB launches unified payment interface

    Unified Payment Interface allows customers to link all their bank accounts in a single mobile application.

    KOCHI: South Indian Bank (SIB) has launched UPI (Unified Payment Interface) facility- an initiative promoted by NPCI towards creating “Cash less Society”. It is one of the first few banks to launch this facility across the nation.

    Unified Payment Interface allows customers to link all their bank accounts in a single mobile application. Further this facility allows the customers to make seamless and instant payments/transfer of funds using a virtual address. UPI facility will be available for both customers and non-customers of the bank through the Mobile banking application "SIB M-Pay", which is available on Android Play store.

    "By offering this latest technology product, South Indian Bank has yet again lived up to its promise of offering next generation banking to its customers" said MD & CEO of SIB, V.G.Mathew.
