Mary J. Blige has offered up a new theme song for The View. The track, titled "World's Gone Crazy," was penned by writer Diane Warren and finds the recently divorced Blige ruminating on both her personal struggles and those in the world today.
"The world's gone crazy," she sings. "I think there's only one thing to do / I think that we should go crazy too."
It's an appropriate lyric for Blige, who filed for divorce from her husband Kendu Isaacs. The pair have been married for twelve years and Blige cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her filing. She has also reportedly requested that a judge prevent Isaacs from requesting spousal support.
Though the couple have never had children together, Blige has served as a stepmother to Isaacs' three children Briana, Jordan and Nas from a previous marriage. Rumors have swirled about their crumbling relationship since 2012.
